Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum was born in Russia after his parents were released from a Communist prison. With the help of the Israeli underground, the Fruchtenbaum family escaped from behind the Iron Curtain and moved to Germany. There Arnold was given an Orthodox Jewish education until his family finally immigrated to the USA in 1951.
Dr. Fruchtenbaum is the founder and director of Ariel Ministries, headquartered in Texas. He earned a Th.M. at Dallas Theological Seminary in Texas and his PH.D. at New York University. His graduate work included studies at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City and the Hebrew university in Jerusalem.
Dr. Fruchtenbaum lived in Israel for three years, during the time of the Six Day War between Israel and her Arab neighbours. He is today a popular speaker and teacher throughout North America and the world. He has authored a number of commentaries, books and pamphlets of keen interest to both Jews and Gentiles.
