Recommended Churches/congregations in Israel
Haifa
We meet at Bethesda Assembly in Haifa, which assembles at 10am each Saturday for a communion service that is open to all born-again, baptized believers. After communion, there is Bible study that is translated into English via ear-phones. Bethesda is on the corner of Ben Gurion Street and Allenby Street. You can then enjoy lunch at a good restaurant (click here for some recommendations) or with local believers, and take a drive to a scenic local spot.
Tel Aviv area
Yaffo Assembly is a small gathering of believers near Tel Aviv. This is a brethren assembly, with good teaching from the Word of God and a communion service every week, open to all baptised believers in the Lord Jesus. They assemble on a Saturday morning and once a month, on a Friday evening instead. If you would like to contact them, please email: info@israelunique.com.
Grace and Truth is a meeting of believers in Rishon LeTzion, south of Tel Aviv. The doctrine is Reformed Baptist/ A-Millennial. They are lovely hearty believers and the messages are generally good, with clear exposition of the Word of God. They provide translation into English and Russian. They assemble on Saturday mornings. I was edified there, in spite of doctrinal differences. Baruch Maoz is an elder at that church. See their website: graceandtruthbulletin.org.
Jerusalem
Jerusalem Assembly is a meeting of believers with excellent Bible teaching from a pre-millennial, pre-tribulation perspective. They assemble on Saturday mornings. See their website: jerusalemassembly.com. Contact them to inquire about organised transportation to the meeting, as it might be hard to find. Although they are called an 'Assembly", they are not strictly a brethren assembly, though their doctrine is almost identical.
