Tour Guides
Tour guides are often very busy, so make your arrangements ahead of time to avoid dissappointment.
Yad HaShmonah ('Hand of the Eight'), in the Judean Hills near Jerusalem, is a Moshav (a communal village) of true believers. As well as being a beautiful place to stay, they also have a host of believing tour guides who are available to make tours for small parties to wherever you would like to go. It would be very convenient to stay in Yad HaShmonah overnight and take a tour with one of their guides the following day (prior arrangements needed). Arieh Bar David is a superb guide from Yad HaShmonah who knows the land like the back of his hand and brings the Bible to life on his tours. He has fought in many of Israel's wars.
