Pocket Guides to Israel's Wildlife

This colourful, pocket wildlife series is a delightful way to explore the beauties of Israeli flora and fauna from your armchair at home. Displayed in three neatly folding laminated panels, these pocket guides for Israeli wildflowers, birds and wild animals are also convenient to take alongside you as you explore the countryside of Israel.

Noam Kirschenbaum, editor of this little series, sat for three years with artists to ensure the quality of their skilful representation of Israeli wildlife. Such accurate wildlife drawings had never been seen in Israel before Noam took up the challenge. Once the artistic stage had been completed, Noam meticulously checked the scientific accuracy of the artwork and information with botanical and zoological experts from Tel Aviv University and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

The pocket guides are not only visually beautiful but also supply helpful information for those touring the country. In the wildflower and bird guides, for example, you can find out in which time of year you can expect to see each species and in which parts of the country it is possible to find the species that are listed.

Each of the panels / foldable cards measures about 60cm in length and 21cm in depth and is colour printed on both sides.
